Introduction
Only the finest master crafters in Tamriel receive special master writ invitations from Rolis Hlaalu, the Mastercraft Mediator. To become a recipient of these prestigious documents, crafters have to be certified, be recognized as a master in their profession (Level 50), mastered all of the proficiencies in those professions (Solvent Proficiency 8, Metalworking 10, Tailoring 10, Potency Improvement 10, Recipe Improvement 6, and/or Woodworking 10). Once you successfully complete a master crafting writ, you will be rewarded with writ vouchers that can be used to purchase special recipes such as the target skeleton, legendary furniture for each profession, components of the Aetherial Ambroisa recipe, and more.

Special Invitations
When you turn-in a top tier writ to , one of the Belkarth supply master, there is a chance that you will receive a special invitation to craft a very specific item or set of items. Mastercrafter Mediator Rolis Hlaalu who will only appear in the Faction Capital City (Grahtwood, Mournhold, Wayrest) to those that have completed their task on their special invitation.
- These invitations may require any materials or knowledge associated with the tradeskill, even if you don’t yet possess it.
- These invitations are tradeable, consumable, and indicate the number of Writ Vouchers awarded upon successful completion of the contract.
- The frequency of Master Writ invites from standard Writ boxes is based on the overall associated tradeskill mastery possessed by the character.
Improving Your Chances of a Special Invitation
Based on the information provided by ZOS, overall associated tradeskill mastery was clarified to mean
- Alchemy
- Traits of reagents known (Achievements)
- Enchanting
- Provisioning
- Equipment Professions
- Crown store exclusives and racial motifs do not affect overall associated tradeskill mastery
Developer Comments
Does each Chapter of a motif increase your chances or only when a Motif is completed?
Does completing Achievements in general on the character increase your chances or only the crafting achievements?
Does completing Achievements in general on the character increase your chances or only the crafting achievements?
Only Purple- and Gold-quality provisioning recipes and completed Motifs increase your chances of getting a Master Writ. Individual Motif Chapters do not increase your chances. Achievements are factored into Master Writ chances by way of learning associated Alchemy reagent traits and Enchantment glyph translations.
Does that include the new motifs that were just introduced with this patch?
Yes, Motifs that aren’t Crown Store-exclusive (including the ones added with Update 13) are factored into Motif knowledge for the chance to receive Master Writs, with the playable race cultural Motifs being the exception. You may be asked to craft items in the playable race cultural Motifs to complete a Master Writ, but they do not contribute to your chances of getting a Master Writ.
How much knowledge of Motifs helps to increase the rate of getting Master Writs?
Completing all of your research and learning all the applicable Motifs is weighted very similarly.
With the introduction of furnishing crafting schematics, does knowledge of these influence Master Writ chances as they are “craftable goods”?
This doesn’t factor in at the moment, but we’ll be evaluating it for future growth of the system.
Rewards
Writ Vouchers are a new form of currency awarded exclusively through the completion of Master Writs. More difficult, rare, and expensive crafted items provide more Writ Vouchers on average than their more commonplace counterparts. Examples
- 2 vouchers ( Capon Tomato-Beet Casserole)
- 127 vouchers (Ruby Ash Shield, Legendary, Nirnhoned, Eternal Hunt, Dark Brotherhood)
Level to Adventure Level 50 in 35 minutes

Hi everyone, I have been researching for a few days on some add on problems I am having.
So everone keeps posting that addons go in the:
C:Program Files (x86)The Elder Scrolls OnlineliveAddOns
However my folder does not have the LiveAddon mine reads:
D:The Elder Scrolls Online
I thought maybe it had something to do with it going on to the D: instead of the SSD so I tied to downloaded it to my SSD which has 71 gigs free but it wont let me download to it because it says I don't have enough room (error 104) I don't have anything saved to my SSD except Windows which is my OS so I have to have that obviously.
I then used steammover to put it back on my SSD
and reads:
C:Program Files (x86)Zenimax OnlineThe Elder Scrolls Online
I tried to repair but it then gave me the error again. (with the game on the SSD I still have 21 gigs free but it wont even let me play the game because it says it needs more room in case of an update (WTF).
I tried to manually put a liveaddOns file however the game still doesn't load the addons when I do that..
Does anyone know a solution to my problem or how to create the addon path in the folder?? Does anyone know if the liveAddOns has to be located on the C: to work? Can anyone who thinks they want to reply to put the addons in 'C:Program Files (x86)The Elder Scrolls OnlineliveAddOns' not because my version does not have liveAddOns??

The ones where I've noticed this happening are Azurah and Srendarr.
That's the thing that made me think it was related to LibAddonMenu: I was only seeing it with addons that use it and therefore use the Profiles option, and because some addons had profiles for characters I had deleted before installing them. For example Srendarr which I only installed fairly recently has a profile for my very first character.
But having poked around in the .lua files using Notepad I think I have a better grasp of what's going on. For a start I found one for an addon I had uninstalled ages ago. By uninstalled I mean I deleted it from my addons folder, I missed the .lua because it was saved separately. So some addons like Azurah which I installed, uninstalled and then reinstalled later on have profiles going back longer than I realised.
I've used notepad to delete the extra profiles now and it seems to have worked (and everything else in the game is still working).
For future reference, so I don't have to go through all the files each time I delete a character if I just delete the entire file will I lose the settings I'm using ingame and revert back to the defaults for each addon? Or would they be saved and the file recreated when I log in next?

There’s been a lot of controversy around Elder Scrolls Online’s addons recently, and while Zenimax did severely limit some of the potential capabilities addon developers are still hard at work creating helpful ones. Far cry 4 save data. The default interface is very minimalistic, somewhat optimized for console gamers and as such has certain downsides. Regardless of your opinions on addons there are a few which are very useful, and here’s some which I’ve been using so far!
For info on how to find and install addons jump to the end of this article.
1. Wykkyd’s Framework
Wykkyd’s Framework has been extremely helpful for me. It adds a bar showing your character’s level and XP bar, amount of Soul Shards, mount feed timer, clock, zone you’re in, available and used bag space and several other pieces of information which are very useful to see at all times.
While the information it provides can be found otherwise, having it up the entire time has been a real time saver for me. Constantly opening my inventory to see how much space I have left or checking character stats to see experience progress to next level can get tedious after awhile — with Wykkyd’s Framework you can choose to display all or just some of these stats all the time. Not crucial to have by any means, but something that I feel should definitely be on everyone’s to-do list.
(Wykkyd’s Framework on Esoui)
2. ZrMiniMap
This is one of those add-ons that’s simply a must-have for anyone who thinks immersion is just another buzzword. I played without a minimap for a couple of days, and as soon as I realized this feature existed I never looked back. It’s a very simple addon that does exactly what you think: adds a small version of your map to a customizable place on your screen. Navigating to quest givers, public dungeons or wayshrines becomes (surprisingly) a lot easier, so ZrMiniMap is one addon you should definitely consider installing.
(ZrMiniMap on Esoui)
3. Craft Research Timer
Another self-explanatory addon. To see research timers normally you’d have to visit a crafting station and check it manually: no more, as Craft Research Timer allows you to view the exact time when your research for Clothing, Blacksmithing or Woodworking will be completed. Since research times will take an enormous amount of time maximizing your research downtime is very important, especially early on when they don’t take too long.
If you’re like me and trying to level all professions, keeping track of research times for 6 or even 9 different traits can get overwhelming, and Craft Research Timer will absolutely help with that. It’s certainly not the prettiest addon and I wouldn’t mind more customization, but it does its job effectively.
(Craft Research Timer on Esoui)
4. Foundry Tactical Combat
Though not for everyone, Foundry Tactical Combat is incredibly helpful for players who are often grouped or engage in Cyrodiil’s PvP combat. Scrolling combat text and buff tracking are just some of the features of FTC, and for everyone who feels they’re lacking combat information this addon should do the trick.
(Foundry Tactical Combat on Esoui)
5. SpamFilter
Everyone who’s completely against addons in ESO, you’re now eating your words! Except for a rudimentary ignore list the developers didn’t seem to implement any kind of spam filters to keep unwanted (and annoying) gold spam messages from the zone chat, and there sure is a lot of it going around in starting zones.
I’m sure anyone will agree that this is one addon you absolutely want to have and keep updated, so be sure to install it and enjoy a spam-free experience.
(SpamFilter on Esoui)
Finding Addons
The largest and most popular website for finding ESO addons is Esoui.com. Developed and maintained by Zam, Esoui has the biggest database of updated addons and if it exists, chances are you’ll find it there. Addons on Esoui are categorized into easy to understand sections like Action Bar, Combat, Tradeskill and similar, making finding whatever you need a breeze.
Alternatively you can use Nexusmods. If you previously played and used addons for Fallout, Skyrim or other single-player RPG games it’s not unlikely to know about Nexusmods. Their site and addon download manager also supports Elder Scrolls Online, and while their mods database isn’t as large or updated as Esoui’s it still has the most popular addons.
Installing Addons
There are two options for installing ESO addons. First solution is to manually download files and copy them to your ESO’s folder, which you can find in “My Documents” > “Elder Scrolls Online” > “Live” (or “liveeu” for european client) > “AddOns”. Simply paste the appropriate addon files to this folder and if necessary activate them once you launch the game. Instructions should also be provided in every addon’s readme files in case you need additional help.
Alternatively, you can install Esoui’s Minion which will handle downloading and installing addons for you. It’s a small downloadable app which will make adding and removing ESO addons a breeze and I highly suggest checking it out. It’s way more convenient and as safe as it can be.
There’s plenty of other addons which are fairly helpful such as EsoHead Markers, Research Assistant, Inventory Grid View, Multi Quest Tracker and more, and I advise you to explore and find ones you want yourself. In time I’m sure we’ll see plenty of other helpful addons, and I for one am excited about it. Default interface has its limitations, and I’d rather have Zenimax developers working on new content and leave user interface to the community.
Despite a fairly small but vocal part of the community being against addons there’s no denying they can make your gaming experience much more pleasurable. There’s nothing forcing to use any addons if you don’t want to, but fortunately for everyone who prefers convenience and functionality over “immersion” (sigh) there’s quite an active addon development community working to make our lives easier.
So what’s your preference, are you using any addons? If the answer is yes, give everyone your recommendations below!
This is the extended-LOD version of FFLibrary. For a given setting of “world detail distance” in the rendering options menu of X-Plane, buildings will appear at a greater distance than in the “regular” version of FFLibary. This will naturally come at a cost in framerate.
Introduction
FFLibrary is a scenery library with „German looking“ buildings. I mainly intended it as a resource for my Nürnberg VFR scenery but may use it for other scenery projects as well.
Naturally, I considered making all the objects contained part of the OpenSceneryX library. Desirable as that may be, it would have meant organizing my material more carefully as well as rewriting the parts of Nürnberg VFR which already existed.
Installation
- As usual, place the unzipped “ff_library” folder in the “custom scenery” folder in your X- Plane installation.
Credits
- Without the incredible Blender software and Marginal’s conversion scripts, this library wouldn’t have been possible.
- Thanks to AlpilotX for letting me use tree textures from the Corine package.
- Many textures in the library come from photos taken directly on location in Nürnberg and surroundings. Others were downloaded from the wonderful free texture sites on the web such as Mayang’s.
Enjoy!
